Royal Parks Half Marathon
You can take on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of Voices Welcome.
Date: Sunday 13th October, 2019
Event: This stunning central London Half Marathon, takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Fundraising target: Participants in our team will be asked to raise a minimum of £350 to support our work
We are seeking funding from public and private Trusts and Foundations, Businesses and the public to continue our existing project in Peckham and establish a second project in London.
By investing and supporting Voices Welcome you will ensure refugee communities in the UK gain access to singing opportunities and their benefits, helping them to feel connected and welcome.
Our current funding partner is The Big Lottery Community Fund.
We have a number of opportunities to volunteer your time and expertise to support Voices Welcome deliver singing opportunities to refugee communities.
Join our project singing sessions
Our projects benefit from volunteers joining the singing sessions to encourage participants to get involved and build connections in the community.
